Interval Training Defined

What is interval training?
Also know as high intensity interval training or HIIT, is a
form of workout that involves pushing training intensity for a given period time, then lowering the intensity down for the following round. The down and up intensity motion is repeated throughout the workout.
Interval training workouts take many forms: You can do interval sessions on the treadmill, running track as well as other cardiovascular training exercises that push your heart rate to its optimum tempo for a specific amount of time. Your workout program can be created and tailored to meet any sort of needs you have and match your current level of physical fitness.

How to do interval training

Primarily, you should first choose a cardio training exercise that you find enjoyable and moderately easy to do. Nothing could wipe out your motivation and enthusiasm for the training than doing something you despise. For me, I happen to prefer. plyometrics and jump training. Nonetheless, there is a wide array of cardio training programs you could pick and choose from.

How much weight you will lose while performing interval training will depend on the duration of the session and training intensity. The more you push yourself, the more calories you burn off, and the more weight you will eventually trim down. Nonetheless you should be cautious not to ever hurt yourself and thus compromise your weight loss efforts.

For a
newbie, an interval training session should not go beyond twenty-five minutes, 3 times a week. Nonetheless, if you feel you're up to the challenge, then you can make your training sessions more intense and last for an extended period of time. However, safety should be your outmost priority.
